This project will stand out as an early intervention strategy the Government deploys to encourage early detection of how Australia’s lifestyle affect its children as well as delayed development and revealing illness.

The Healthy Kids Check will use this free health check to assess your child’s general well-being, physical health, and her development. This information is necessary to begin early interventions for any illness.

Our practice nurse will assist your Unanderra Doctor to undertake the assessment with a totally caring and child-friendly manner.

The assessment incorporates:

1. your child’s history
2. physical examination (weight, height, BMI calculation, hearing tests, immunisation, eyesight, oral health, and allergies)
3. your child’s health assessment
4. any recommended health interventions
5. parental advice(s)
6. legal report of your child’s assessment, including an offer of another written report which contains necessary recommendations
